Barnes & Noble announced this week a fancy new Nook e-reader with TOUCH capability. This is a first as most other e-ink readers use buttons to move back and forth between the pages (such as the Kindle)

The brand spanking new Nook has a 6-inch screen and weighs less than eight ounces. It retails for $139, with shipping to begin June 10. One of the biggest claims is the battery can now last for two months on a single charge. Nice.

Over 1,000 books can be stored on the device.

ASUS have revealed the beautiful new UX Series ultraportable laptop range with the X21 looking like the crown jewel in the collection thanks to its super lovely looks.

And yes, it does look similar to the Macbook Mac – something of a first for a PC laptop manufacturer. The specs for the new machine are impressive including the rather spiffy first unibody all metal notebook from the company.

The UX-series will be available with a full range of second generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, a powerful SATA 6Gbps SSD, Pair of speed USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI port, mini DisplayPort connector
and an audio jack.

Dunno if you’ve noticed, but Apple have these new glass or aluminium iMacs. Since they can’t hold pinot noir or Stellar Artois I say, just get a skin..i.e. one of these little wrap around plastic covers from ChroMac.

Meet Hello Kitty’s arch nemesis: Domo. A Japanese television station – NHK – created him as their mascot at the end of the last mellinnium.

Expect to see a plethora of flash drives by way of massive-marketing-onslaught when Domo comes to America’s Nicktoons Network this fall.

Somehow I don’t think chaining a phone around boyfriend’s neck is gonna do the trick but, you know, couldn’t hurt.

We are tickled pink with the new Asus Eee PC

The already rather sexy Asus Eee PC is about to get even hotter thanks to a whole range of new colors – including a super pink shade!

For those not in the know the Asus Eee PC is a low priced ultra-portable laptop with 4GB of disk space, 512MB ram and an in-built webcam for just $399

The lower spec version, which is currently the only model with the fab new colors, is due to hit American shores next year for $299.

It can also be purchased in Green and Blue shades as well as the usual black and white shades of the higher spec model.

I think we will be going for the pink….
