Dr. Hryhory Chausovsky is the latest medical professional to jump into the weight loss arena. The Ukrainian scientist has invented a Smart Plate that stops overeating in it’s tracks with clever one liners. Get greedy and load up on too much macaroni and cheese and sensors embedded inside this bit of gadgetry will trigger a “Stop right there” or a “Where’s your will power?” comment.

I’d totally buy one of these things. But I’d ignore it. Just like I ignore that inner beasty of mine that keeps trying to convince me chocolate is hard on the thighs.

Maybe a little on the large side as far as gadgets go, but pretty. And totally retro-tastic baby! A friend of mine has a Smeg Fridge. I love it and want to live in his house because of it. I’m also after an aga. Maybe a red one.

Also comes in pastel. For the pinkophiles.

These are kinda cute, but to be honest what I really want is one of those automated robot type vacuum cleaners that will do all the work for you. Just turn it loose on your way out the door and when you get home in the afternoon, instant clean.

The Kone Vacuum. Karim Rashi, the Kone’s designer, doesn’t think design should be about solving problems alone, but about rigorous beautification of our built environments. I guess. Sold me on it anyway. Now, if it could just turn itself on…

It looks like a giant Pepto Bismol bottle and I care 0%. The Big Chill Fridge. I want it. I’ll also take one of those tiffany blue looking boys too. Because, you know, Tiffany. Also, I feel certain having this in my kitchen would inspire me to use my stove for something other than storage space.

CNN is reporting that Apple announced on Monday a much faster iPhone that’s half the price of the current model. Problem is - there is STILL no pink or nice girly color model on the cards. While there is a white iPhone version available, it isn’t enough Steve Jobs!

The news is expected to address one of the biggest complaints about the hugely popular iPhone: That its Internet browsing is too slow. CEO Steve Jobs said the new iPhone, which is based on 3G technology, is 36% faster than top rival Nokia’s N95 smartphone.
As Fortune.com first reported, the new 8-gigabyte iPhone will cost $199 and a 16-gigabyte version will cost $299. Jobs says the new iPhone will be available worldwide starting July 11. It will allow up to six hours of Web browsing and five hours of talk time.

Jobs announced the 3G iPhone, which had been rumored for months, at the company’s annual World Wide Developers conference in San Francisco.

The already rather sexy Asus Eee PC is about to get even hotter thanks to a whole range of new colors - including a super pink shade!

For those not in the know the Asus Eee PC is a low priced ultra-portable laptop with 4GB of disk space, 512MB ram and an in-built webcam for just $399

The lower spec version, which is currently the only model with the fab new colors, is due to hit American shores next year for $299.

It can also be purchased in Green and Blue shades as well as the usual black and white shades of the higher spec model.

I think we will be going for the pink….
