Domo Flashdrives? Me thinks so, yes.

Posted by 0 Responses

Meet Hello Kitty's arch nemesis: Domo. A Japanese television station - NHK - created him as their mascot at the end of the last mellinnium.

Expect to see a plethora of flash drives by way of massive-marketing-onslaught when Domo comes to America's Nicktoons Network this fall.

Website of the Day. WaCom

Posted by 0 Responses

The WaCom website should do for pretty-fix-of-the day. I mean, it's so colourful and zen, who cares if you forget why you went to it in the first place. Oh, that's right. The Bamboo thingy.

Kone Vacuums

Posted by 0 Responses

These are kinda cute, but to be honest what I really want is one of those automated robot type vacuum cleaners that will do all the work for you. Just turn it loose on your way out the door and when you get home in the afternoon, instant clean. The Kone Vacuum. Karim Rashi, the Kone's designer, doesn't think design should be about solving problems alone, but about rigorous beautification of our built environments. I guess. Sold me on it... Venus flytrap gadget grabs grubby flies

Posted by 0 Responses

It isn't exactly a girlie gadget but we couldn't resist this one. This piece of gadget goodness is highly functional especially during these hot summer months when flies drive you mad when you're trying to enjoy a nice barbeque. I'm especially drawn to it as I recently purchased two "natural" fly catchers and managed to kill them within hours due to my poor ability to grow anything in my garden. The Stereo H2O Bathtub

Posted by 0 Responses

Pass the wine, the candles and a little light reading but don't call it romance - don't you dare - it's relaxation. I'm sure there are couples out there who like to bond in the bath. But I gotta tell ya, if a guy ever tried to crawl in the tub with me I'd whack him over the head with a loofah brush, drag his limp body from the room and lock the door. Bath time = Me Time. And don't you forget it. Enjoy full underwater sound with The... [ Continue reading... ]

Bra Baby

Posted by 0 Responses

Once, when I lived with a house full of guys the washing machine went on the fritz. I blamed Paul for over stuffing it and Martin for just not knowing how to use it. Repair man came and pulled this little wirey thing out of it. The guys (repair man included) had no idea what it is. I knew full well - my underwire - but pretended I didn't. BraBaby is a wire frame contraption that keeps expensive bras, especially underwire or padded... [ Continue reading... ]

Mool Toaster

Posted by 0 Responses

So the MOOL Toaster doesn't toast very well. No matter. I've not done toast since the low carb revolution. Come to think of it, I've not done much of anything in the kitchen lately - I use my oven for storage. So, dysfunctional Turkish appliances suit me fine. I should probably point out that Atil Kizilbayir's latest gadget is not the safest thing in the world if you live with small children - or anyone else who may feel inclined to...
