Venus flytrap gadget grabs grubby flies
It isn’t exactly a girlie gadget but we couldn’t resist this one. This piece of gadget goodness is highly functional especially during these hot summer months when flies drive you mad when you’re trying to enjoy a nice barbeque.
I’m especially drawn to it as I recently purchased two “natural” fly catchers and managed to kill them within hours due to my poor ability to grow anything in my garden.

This has to be either the most wonderful idea ever, or the most impractical. Part of me loves the idea of carrying a laptop bag which looks like I’m packing some serious heat. Get away criminals! Stay away evildoers!
Can you tell we are obsessed with diamonds? Even better when those shiny beauties are placed in normally boring looking gadgets. Take for instance this way over the top 14K real gold USB drive which is, as Born Rich puts it, festooned with VS quality diamonds.
You know how it is, a purse full of pictures that are old, dusty and wrinkly - and that’s just the family! Why bother with such old fashioned technology when you can keep people entertained for literally minutes with a digital keychain picture display. This pink beauty can hold a small but perfectly formed 35 digital pictures and is just $23.
I’ve probably moaned before about the lack of really beautiful phones to arrive in the US, having lived in Europe for many years and being spoiled with an abundance of pink mobile devices.
This is one of those really funky devices we love at Pretty Gadgets. Firstly, it’s not bad looking and secondly it has a real practical purpose.
I know what you’re thinking, how many times have you needed a 59 diamond-studded mouse to impress your office buddies? Or perhaps the question should be, how many times have you wanted to flush $25,000 down the drain?
Somehow I don’t think I will be wearing these items any time soon, but I love the idea. Mike and Maaike have come up with pixelated leather jewelry called Stolen Jewels.
Remember the old dancing flowers of the past that used to bounce and jig while While Lines was blasting on the old box stereo? Well, we all know the recent success of iDog has moved such daft technology to the next generation.
Fancy a different way to store all those important half finished book ideas, dodgy pictures and music you normally store on your pocket USB drive? Take a look at this - it’s a USB stick stuck in a fairly fashionable tiny bag. There is a nice touch though - the bag inflates with the amount of data you add to it.
